China's First Multi-Technology Lithium Battery Energy Storage Station Was Built and Put Into Operation

2024年1月3日，南方电网储能股份有限公司在广东佛山正式投运我国首个多技术路线锂电池储能站——宝塘电网侧独立电池储能站(以下简称“宝塘储能站”)，该站是粤港澳大湾区规模最大的储能电站，也是我国一次性建成的最大电网侧独立储能电站，装机规模为300兆瓦/600兆瓦时。

On January 3rd, 2024, China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Co., Ltd. officially put into operation the first multi-technology lithium battery energy storage station in Foshan, Guangdong Province - Baotang Power Grid Side Battery Energy Storage Station (hereinafter referred to as "Baotang Energy Storage Station"), which is the largest energy storage station in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the largest power grid-side independent energy storage station built at one time in China, with an installed capacity of 300 MW /600 MWh.

For the first time in China, the power station has realized the "one-stop integration" of several lithium battery energy storage technology routes, which has effectively improved the technical lean level of the new energy storage industry.

建成每年可输送4.3亿度清洁电能的“城市充电宝”

宝塘储能站包括电池簇、电池管理系统、储能变流器、能量管理系统等多个重要系统。电站运行时，实现电能在储能系统中的“精准”充储和放出，“毫秒级”地迅速响应电力系统调节需求。

Baotang energy storage station includes battery cluster, battery management system, energy storage converter, energy management system and many other important systems. When the power station is running, it can realize the "accurate" charging and discharging of electric energy in the energy storage system, and quickly respond to the regulation requirements of the power system in milliseconds.

按照每天“两充两放”测算，宝塘储能站每年可向粤港澳大湾区输送4.3亿度清洁电能，满足20万户居民的用电需求，减少二氧化碳排放30万吨。

According to the calculation of "two charges and two discharges" every day, Baotang Energy Storage Station can deliver 430 million kWh of clean electricity to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area every year, meet the electricity demand of 200,000 households, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 300,000 tons.

构筑9条储能技术路线性能对比的“大擂台”

Constructing a "wrestling ring" for performance comparison of nine energy storage technology routes

在电站建设过程中，南网储能聚焦锂电池的热管理、结构连接、电池性能3大主要技术领域，搭配组合不同技术方式，形成了9条技术路线，各路线装机规模从5兆瓦到75兆瓦不等。这相当于把9座不同技术特点的中型储能站聚合到了一起，形成一个技术性能对比的“大擂台”。

In the process of power station construction, nine technical routes were formed in the three main technical fields of thermal management, structural connection and battery performance, and the installed capacity of each route ranged from 5 MW to 75 MW. 在电池热管理方面，该电站运用三种技术，包括风冷技术、一般液冷技术和浸没式液冷技术。而在结构连接方面，该站的连接方式多达5种，组串式、双极式、单极式、低压级联、高压级联。

In terms of battery thermal management, the power station uses three technologies, including air cooling technology, general liquid cooling technology and immersion liquid cooling technology. In terms of structural connection, there are as many as five connection modes of the station, including series connection, bipolar connection, unipolar connection, low-voltage cascade connection and high-voltage cascade connection.

挖掘涵盖20项关键技术指标的“数据富矿”

在宝塘储能站的多技术路线验证方案中，既有热管理、结构连接、电芯性能等不同领域的关键技术指标，也有储能、电池、变流器等不同领域的关键技术指标，总数多达20项，将形成“数据富矿”。
