   ESG100︱全球顶尖可持续发展案例库

 

ESG100项目由中国能源报、中国能源经济研究院和绿光气候研究院于2024年共同发起,是一个根植中国,面向全球的平等、开放、多元、共建的价值平台,以推动能源与关键产业100%践行ESG、100%绿色用能、100%低碳循环发展为使命,以解决环境和气候危机,凝聚全球共识和行动为宗旨。构建ESG100全球倡议网络和全球顶尖可持续发展案例库,打造中国ESG100价值平台,为企业透明披露和绿色价值提升搭建基础平台。

君山淡水湿地碳汇项目是践行习近平生态文明思想的生动实践。该项目主要是通过开展湿地生态恢复和修复行为,保护和创造栖息地环境,促进和保护生物多样性和持续性,目前已成为全球首个挂牌公示的淡水湿地修复碳汇项目。

 

Junshan Freshwater Wetland Carbon Sink Project is a vivid practice of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought. The project is mainly to protect and create habitat environment, promote and protect biodiversity and sustainability by carrying out wetland ecological restoration and restoration. At present, it has become the first carbon sink project for freshwater wetland restoration in the world.

 

1、牢记嘱托 践行生态文明思想  

Remembering the entrustment of practicing the thoughts of ecological civilization 

 

湖南省岳阳市君山区地处东洞庭湖国际重要湿地。该区牢记习近平总书记“守护好一江碧水”的殷殷嘱托,坚持“绿水青山就是金山银山”的生态理念,通过清理欧美黑杨、种植本地树种、疏通小微湿地、重新润湿泥炭地等工作,修复湿地近6万亩,清退欧美黑杨8744亩,完成长江生态廊道建设11083亩,关停港口、码头、堆砂场复绿 480 亩,野生濒危珍稀动物麋鹿数量达到250多头,极度濒危动物江豚栖息种群达210头,越冬水鸟超40万只等,擦亮了江豚的微笑、麋鹿的倩影、候鸟的欢歌岳阳三张名片。 

 

Junshan District is located in the internationally important wetland of East Dongting Lake in Yueyang City, Hunan Province. Bearing in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest entrustment to "Protect the Yangtze River" and adhering to the ecological concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", the area has restored nearly 60,000 mu of wetlands, cleared 8,744 mu of European and American poplars, completed the construction of 11,083 mu of ecological corridors in the Yangtze River, and closed ports, docks and sand yards for 480 mu of greening. There are many wild and endangered rare animals - more than 250 elks, 210 extremely endangered finless porpoises and over 400,000 wintering waterfowl, which have polished three business cards: the smile of finless porpoises, the beautiful image of elk and the singing of migratory birds in Yueyang.

 
2、科技赋能 开创全球首例淡水湿地修复碳汇   

Technology empowerment creates the world's first case of freshwater wetland restoration carbon sink 

 

引入技术合作单位青研科技公司,共同对君山淡水湿地碳汇进行评估、文件编写和项目申报,创造性运用了VCS发布的VM0036方法学,通过了国际自愿减排计划(VCS)审核,实现了全球淡水湿地修复碳汇项目历史性突破。预计未来40年该项目可创造4600万元碳汇收益,也为全国 3400个湿地修复项目提供重要参考。农民日报、人民日报等多家媒体深度报导。 

 

The technical cooperation unit Hefei Qingyan Technology Co., Ltd. was introduced to jointly evaluate, document and declare the carbon sink of Junshan freshwater wetland, creatively applied the VM0036 methodology released by VCS, passed the audit of the Verified Carbon Standard(VCS), and achieved a historic breakthrough in the global freshwater wetland restoration carbon sink project. It is estimated that the project will generate 46 million yuan of carbon sink income in the next 40 years, and also provide an important reference for 3,400 wetland restoration projects nationwide. Farmers Daily, People's Daily and other media had made in-depth report on it.

 

3、路径创新 打造碳汇开发循环模式

Path innovation to create a carbon sink development cycle model

 

将湿地资源转化为碳资产,通过绿色金融和绿色保险获得金融支持;开展洞庭湖和长江中下游流域生态环境监测和治理,以及碳储量、碳排放的监测和评估;不断延长碳汇产业链,开展生物质碳与土壤保水性研究,推进建立全国首个淡水湿地碳汇研究中心;结合生态、社会、经济效益,探索一种兼顾环保与开发的“君山模式”。

 

We are convertng wetland resources into carbon assets and obtaining financial support through green finance and green insurance; Carrying out monitoring and management of the ecological environment in Dongting Lake and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, as well as monitoring and evaluation of carbon reserves and carbon emissions; Continuously extending the carbon sink industry chain, carrying out research on biomass carbon and soil water retention, and promoting the establishment of the first freshwater wetland carbon sink research center in China; Combining ecological, social and economic benefits, exploring a "Junshan model" that takes into account environmental protection and development.

 

4、设立标准 提升生态保护质量

Establishing standards to improve the quality of ecological protection 

 

通过淡水湿地碳汇研究中心申报淡水湿地碳汇方法学,助推地方和国家标准设立,推广“君山模式”,为全国其他湿地提供生态保护指导和碳汇开发支持,初步预测还将产生1亿吨左右碳汇,经济效益达到数十亿人民币,形成绿色经济新的产业集群。 

 

By applying for the methodology of carbon sequestration in freshwater wetlands through the Research Center of Carbon Sequestration in Freshwater Wetland, the establishment of local and national standards will be promoted, and the "Junshan Model" will be popularized to provide ecological protection guidance and carbon sequestration development support for other wetlands in China. It is preliminarily predicted that about 100 million tons of carbon sequestration will be generated, with economic benefits reaching billions of RMB, forming a new industrial cluster of green economy.
